FOR WRITERS AND BOOK LOVERS

JENNIFER JOHNSTON WRITERS SESSION
Friday 9th May @ 2pm
Regional Cultural Centre, Letterkenny

Jennifer Johnston will host a 2-hour writers session for people aged over 55 on the afternoon of Friday 9th May as part of the Bealtaine Festival in the Regional Cultural Centre, Letterkenny. This is a very special event where creative writers will get the opportunity to share their work with one of Irelands most prolific writers. Places are limited to 30, so anyone interested in attending should send an example of their original writing (2 pg A4 prose) to Sally Murphy at the Regional Cultural Centre, Covehill, Port Road, Letterkenny. Jennifer will then select the 30 participants who will attend the workshop

THE BIG BOOK GROUP

Donegal County Council's Libraries and Arts Service is pleased to present 'The Big Book Group', a special event on Saturday 10th May as part of the Bealtaine Festival 2008. Book groups and book lovers of all ages and places are welcome to come together for an afternoon gathering to share the joy of reading, meet one of Irelands best loved and most prolific authors and discuss her suggested book 'Two Moons' a beautifully written novel which tells the story of an old lady approaching death and the events that are taking place in her family.
