NATIONAL GALLERY OF IRELAND STUDY DAY for Leaving Certificate Art Students

The Regional Cultural Centre, Letterkenny is hosting a Study Day for Leaving Certificate Art Students in association with the National Gallery of Ireland. This study day is made available as part of the National Gallery’s Teacher and Schools Programme. The event is provided free to students and teachers and lasts between two and a half to three hours. The talk draws on images from the national collection and will cover the following topics: The Renaissance, Impressionism to Cubism
Modern Irish Art (1890 – 1960). This event is open to all leaving cert art students and teachers but places are limited so early booking is advised.
