ADULT EVENING WORKSHOPS

Web Design: Creating an Online Profile
Dates:                        Tuesday  22 April – Tuesday 27 May (6 weeks)
Times:                        Tuesdays 7pm - 9pm
Prices:                        €120 / €100
Utilising Adobe DreamWeaver and PhotoShop, participants will be introduced to the
basics of designing a website.  Aimed at small businesses, artists, designers and
filmmakers who wish to develop an online portfolio or gallery, the course will focus on
designing a simple website using images / video / audio.  Participants are asked to bring
their own source material to this workshop.  (PhotoShop experience advantageous, but not essential).

‘Just Drawing’ with Frank Saucian
Dates:                        Tuesday  22 April – Tuesday 27th May (6 weeks)
Times:                        Tuesdays 7pm - 8.30pm
Prices:                        €120 / €100
The main aim of this workshop is to help the participants to discover and develop their creativity and awareness of line, shape, tone, depth, texture, pattern and rhythm by making spontaneous large-scale charcoal drawings in a very free way. The emphasis is on finding enjoyment in expressing yourself through drawing, within a relaxed group environment.

Digital Photography for Beginners
Dates:                        Thursday  24 April – Thursday 29 May (6 weeks)
Times:                        Thursdays 7pm - 9pm
Prices:                        €120 / €100
This 6 week workshop is aimed at new users of Digital Cameras.  The course will be a basic introduction to Digital Camera functions and how to get the best pictures from your camera. Participants will learn how to scan, download and transfer images onto the computer.  Using PhotoShop the workshop will introduce you to editing techniques such as; how to remove red eye, brighten images, restore old photos crop and resize images. The workshop will culminate in a small exhibition of prints created during the workshop. 

Please note all workshops must be paid for in advance and there is a maximum of 10 participants per workshop.
